Our Story
Expat Connect Services was founded by Stuart Henderson, a former Canadian firefighter with more than 14 years of international living experience across Nicaragua, the Philippines, Bulgaria, and Georgia.
After more than a decade in Nicaragua, Stuart kept running into the same situation: new arrivals asking who they could trust for residency paperwork, tax registration, or a property purchase — and getting guesswork in return. He had needed the same thing himself when he first arrived, and no reliable, vetted source existed. So he built one.
In January 2027, Stuart returns to Georgia — where he previously lived for three and a half years — and will document the entire relocation process in real time: the new work permit rules, banking setup, neighbourhood decisions, all of it. Not research from a distance. The same move you’re considering, made in public.
